Welcome to Norman First Assembly of God
At Norman First Assembly of God, we embrace a full gospel message within a warm, intimate church environment.
Our Beliefs:
The Trinity: We affirm the belief in one God in three persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Freedom in Christ: We hold that there is no condemnation for those who live according to the Spirit and not by their own feelings or desires, as stated in Romans 8.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe in the powerful baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. This baptism signifies that God’s Spirit is not only with us but also dwells within us (John 14:17).
Scriptural Integrity: While we may not always align with modern political correctness, we are committed to being scripturally accurate and faithful to God's Word.
Pursuit of Truth: Our mission is to seek God's truth through His Spirit and by studying the Scriptures.
Love and Judgment: We understand that God is the ultimate judge, and we are called to deliver His message with love.
Courage and Faith: We reject fear except for the reverent fear of God.
Our Community:
Norman First Assembly of God is a welcoming and caring church family. We are dedicated to supporting one another and making a positive impact on the world beyond our church doors. Here, your ministry can thrive as you seek God's will and purpose for your life.
Healing and Prayer:
Following James 5:14, we offer prayer and anointing with oil for the sick during most Sunday services, trusting in God’s healing power.
Our Mission:
We are dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20, spreading the message of Jesus Christ and making disciples of all nations.
We are also committed to the ministry of reconciliation, striving to grow closer to God and encouraging others to do the same. As described in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, we believe in the power of God’s reconciliation through Jesus Christ, aiming to bring others into harmony with Him and sharing the message of restoration and favor.
Join Us:
Be part of our journey to deepen our relationship with God and extend His message of reconciliation to the world.
We invite you to come and grow closer to God with us this Sunday. Experience the warmth of our community and discover your place in God’s purpose.
